Al Rajhi Bank Jordan is seeking a motivated and technically skilled System Administrator / Senior System Administrator to join its IT team in Amman. The position focuses on supporting, maintaining, and securing the bank’s technology infrastructure and systems while contributing to the reliability and continuity of its IT environment.
This is a full-time opportunity for professionals with experience in system administration or infrastructure support who can work across server environments, enterprise technologies, networking, security, backup, and technical troubleshooting.

About the Role:
The selected candidate will be involved in the day-to-day administration and monitoring of the bank’s technology infrastructure. The role combines infrastructure maintenance, user and access management, technical support, system security, and participation in IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and continuously monitor Windows and Linux servers together with the related infrastructure.
Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, permissions, and applicable security policies.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security while carrying out proactive maintenance to help maintain reliable infrastructure operations.
Provide support for backup activities, disaster recovery arrangements, and business continuity processes.
Work closely with internal teams on IT projects and initiatives aimed at implementing or enhancing the organization’s infrastructure.
Respond to technical incidents, investigate system-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and work toward providing timely resolutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 years of proven experience in system administration or infrastructure support, noting that specific requirements may vary depending on the level of the position.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, KVM, or other virtualization platforms.
Good understanding of networking concepts.
Practical experience with system monitoring and backup solutions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage, including certifications related to Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Nutanix, and similar technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills.
