DC Technologies is seeking a qualified and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join its growing team in Amman. About the Role :
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organization’s cybersecurity framework, implementing security solutions, monitoring threats, and contributing to the protection of critical systems and infrastructure. The position requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work with a variety of cybersecurity technologies and security management tools.
Key Responsibilities :
Deploy, configure, and manage cybersecurity solutions and security controls across the organization.
Administer and maintain Firewalls, VPN technologies, Endpoint Security solutions, and Access Control systems.
Work with Acronis Cyber Protect to support backup operations and endpoint protection requirements.
Implement and manage Microsegmentation solutions to enhance network security and access management.
Monitor security events and alerts, investigate incidents, and assist with remediation activities.
Perform security hardening tasks, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and risk mitigation procedures.
Diagnose and resolve security-related and infrastructure-related technical issues.
Contribute to maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment through proactive security practices.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity and/or Network Security.
Practical experience working with Firewalls, Acronis solutions, and Microsegmentation technologies.
Good understanding of Networking concepts, Endpoint Security, Active Directory, and VPN technologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a professional technical team and manage multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
While not mandatory, candidates holding cybersecurity certifications will have an added advantage, including certifications such as:
CompTIA Security+
CCNA Security
