A leading company in the telecommunications sector is seeking to hire a Telecommunications Engineer (Drive Test Engineer) to join its team in Jordan. The company specializes in RF Drive Testing and Mobile Network Optimization across multiple wireless technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are looking to build or advance their careers in mobile network performance analysis, field testing, and optimization activities within a professional telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be involved in conducting and supporting various RF testing and network assessment activities, including:
Performing RF Drive Tests across different mobile network technologies.
Executing Single Site Verification (SSV) testing procedures.
Conducting Cluster Drive Tests to evaluate network performance and coverage.
Carrying out In-Building Testing activities when required.
Preparing, configuring, and operating Drive Test equipment independently.
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to Drive Test kits and testing tools.
Supporting network performance evaluation and optimization activities through accurate field measurements and data collection.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following criteria:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of cellular network technologies, including 2G, UMTS, LTE, and 5G.
Familiarity with TEMS and Nemo testing tools is preferred.
Ability to conduct RF Drive Testing activities, including SSVs, Cluster Drives, and In-Building Testing.
Good understanding of SSV testing procedures and related processes.
Previous exposure to Benchmarking Testing will be considered an advantage.
Ability to independently set up, configure, and operate Drive Test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly when dealing with Drive Test Kit issues.
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
