Context/specific Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Qualification requirement: Bachelor degree or higher
Years of Experience: 5
Law degree preferred but not essential
Solid experience in human rights and/or legal assistance/ protection programming, particularly in working in complex fragile state (working in contexts which have experienced displacement/returns) including knowledge of Housing, Land & Property and/or legal and civil documentation issue – Experience in community based and participatory programme planning approaches, with operational based experience in addressing both individual and systemic barriers faced by displaced persons to realize their rights
Good understanding of protection, legal frameworks with the ability to integrate gender and good governance into programming
Demonstrate ability in thinking creatively and practically to improve the quality of projects
Demonstrate ability in conceptual, analytical and critical thinking with the ability to develop strategies
Strong project management and planning skills: assessments, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation; with good skills in managing related data analysis
Strong capacity building, facilitation, and presentation skills
Strong capacity in influencing and liaison with a range of stakeholders and represent in high profile environments
Experience with humanitarian coordination mechanisms in a cluster response
Previous experience from working in return programming would be an asset
