Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will work closely with the Production and R&D teams to develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures, test methods, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Quality Assurance & Quality Control Specialist, you will ensure that products meet all specified requirements, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective actions. Your experience in quality control processes will be critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring that our products are safe and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance (QA):
-Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Review and update product specifications and quality standards.
-Conduct audits of quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
-Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns during product development and production.
-Lead root cause analysis of product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
-Conduct regular quality control inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
-Use tools such as inspection checklists, testing equipment, and laboratory analysis to monitor product quality.
-Identify nonconformities and work with production teams to address and resolve issues.
-Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.
-Perform final product inspections and ensure products are packed and shipped in accordance with quality standards.
Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
-Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or related field, preferably in [specific industry if required, e.g. Manufacturing and Food Production.
-Certifications: Quality certifications such as ISO22000, ISO 9001, HALAL are highly desirable.
-Knowledge: In-depth understanding of QA and QC principles and methodologies and industry standards.
-Tools Expertise: Proficiency in using testing equipment, quality management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, SPC).
-Attention to detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to detect problems and defects during product inspection and testing processes such as laboratory tests (A P C, T V C, E – C o l i, A F L A)
-Problem solving: Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
