We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer (facility maintenance background)
Reports to: Technical Section Head
Direct reports: Mechanic/ HVAC Team Leader, Mechanic/ HVAC Technician
Job Summary
Ensure all mechanical systems run optimally and cost-effectively by supervising the maintenance activities, preparing and monitoring the implementation of preventive maintenance plans, suggesting ways to improve mechanical systems’ efficiency, and recommending the optimal supplier of mechanical systems and devices. Design and review all mechanical drawings and material submittals received by tenants, and follow up on the construction of mechanical works on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in the facility management field.
- Very good in English
- Knowledge of Jordanian Codes (MEP), Fit-out field, and Construction Projects.
- Ability to read Auto-CAD Plans, Fault Tracking in design review for units, and make design review reports.
Working hours - Five days per week
- Willing to work on a fluctuating shift (Shift A 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM/ Shift B 2:00 PM- 10:00 PM)
- Open to work during official holidays, subject to overtime compensation
Salary & benefits package - Salary range: 750- 850 JOD.
- Benefits package: Health insurance grade (A) for self and family.
- Two days off per week.
- Healthy work environment.
