R&D Senior Formulator

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute documentation of all Formulation Section systems and procedures according to Company documentation system.
• Apply SOP’s and documents in the Formulation Section, dealing with equipment, calibration, maintenance, cleaning, safety, etc.
• Execute trouble shooting procedures upon defects are found in coordination with his direct responsible person & related team.
• Execute tasks related to process validation upon required or whenever needed.
• Commit for good handling of raw materials, tools and equipment necessary for Formulation Section activities.
• pre-formulation studies in coordination with his direct responsible person & related team.
• Execute formulation and process development of new products, which may include formulation design, formulation optimization and process design.
• modifications of formulation and /or process of currently produced products whenever needed if they faced problems concerning chemical and/or physical stability, and conformity to specifications.
• Execute R&D batches of new formulated dosage forms for stability purposes in coordination with his direct responsible person & related team.
• packaging with the required primary packaging materials for products in coordination with his direct responsible person & related team.
• Provide support to prepare the necessary documents for each new formulated product, which may include: formula, batch record, product specifications, raw materials specifications, packaging materials specifications and product development reports in coordination with his direct responsible person.
• Provide Support for the production of the first three production batches for new products and troubleshooting whenever needed.
• Commit to the documentation requirements for each formulated or reformulated product.

Job Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
