Mindset a regional social research firm based in Amman-Jordan is looking to hire for the position of a Technical Control Officer.

BSc degree in information technology/ computer science / or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience as a technical support officer and / or admin officer.
Very good understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems and network systems.
Diagnosis skills of technical issues.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently and self-learn using online tools Some of the responsibilities include:
Technical Support Front:
Provide technical support to all company departments within the compan
Execute all installation, operation and maintenance work for all hardware, software, applications and programs.
Monitor and maintain computer and security systems including networks.
Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
Management of company systems and databases.
Admin Front:
Manage office supplies stock and place orders as needed.
Liaise with external vendors and subcontractors, obtain offers and prepare contracts when needed.
Review, compare, analyze, and recommend products and services to be purchased.
o Ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
o Maintain accurate vendor and pricing records.
Manage the inventory system and ensure recording stock appropriately.
o Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks such as booking, procurement, appointment setting, filing, reporting, and logistical support for other departments.
